Kenyan Movie - Shuga - All the Episodes

Shuga is a racy TV series geared toward teens and twenty-somethings that is helping to spread the message of AIDS awareness across sub-Saharan Africa. The three-part mini series, produced by MTV, the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF and the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, focuses on a group of fast-living friends in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. Following the characters' risky decisions -- and the consequences of their actions -- the series tries to promote the message that AIDS is not a death sentence for young Africans. Even though it's based in Africa, it's something that a lot of today's youth can relate to. The best thing about the show is that lessons are conveyed and learned by the characters without it being too preachy. The series ran weekly last fall until World AIDS day, Dec 1, when the 90-minute mini ran full but it remained in heavy rotation on MTV's web base and 12 other MTV channels. In other words, it became a hit! MTV execs said they hoped Shuga would jump-start the debate on topics that are often taboo in much of Africa. Check out full episodes below:
